Noah’s Ark Inspiration: Genesis 7:24 The most difficult of decisions are often not the ones in which we cannot determine the correct course, rather the ones in which we are certain of the path but fear the journey. “who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently
Trusting in the Lord, Noah took his journey in faith. Technique: Hurling movement of the waters exudes dynamic power, action and emotion as teh waves curl to unleash upon the ark. The ark is frozen, the next instant would carry them elsewhere. Was there a universal flood? How is it that nearly every ancient civilization on earth has a flood epic recording a catastrophic deluge? These flood stories have been interpreted as either localized events involving only a small segment of the earth, or as mythological tales. Yet, if all of these widely scattered cultures cite a deluge, the likelihood that the entire world suffered together from the same event is compounded. As I mentioned earlier, the radicals (graphic symbols) of the Chinese written language give specifications referring to the two worlds— either that of Adam and Eve in the mysterious preflood period, or to Noah and his family, the postdiluvian (postflood) common ancestors. Aside form ancient records, physical evidences, worldwide in scope are mute witnesses of this destructive upheaval: petrified forests, coal and oil deposits, fossil remains of now extinct mammoth animals, deep eroded canyons, subterranean caverns, massive folds in the earth’s strata, widespread volcanic residue, and many other phenomena in all parts of the earth indicate a former terrestrial catastrophe which completely changed the face of this world of ours.
