When I paint I let go; I become reflective and the overwhelming feelings created are those of thankfulness.  I am humbled by consequences of choices made.
I realize there is no going back, I can't have do-overs and if I could change the past, what then would be different about my if now, I have been blessed with a wonderful life.  I would not be who I am, I would not have what I have,---I might not know you.  Consequences.

There are no coincidences.  I believe it's God acting on our behalf.  I believe this because in
hindsight the crucial life changing moments God has been a part of.  All things have drawn me
closer to wanting to know HIM, and to live accordingly.  Painting is a gift.  Oil painting is a
merciful medium.
I started painting right after 9-11.  I had a six week recovery from surgery with limited options
and an extended time to play.  The previous Christmas a dear friend had given me a starter set
of oils.  I continue to paint because others have helped me, taught me, and encouraged me.
I paint praying that each painting will bring joy to its viewer.  Rhonda Crawford
