Redemptive art not only looks back to Calvary, but forward to the freedom in which the redeemed stand.  Precisely because we were redeemed at such  a cost believers must be God's men-- God's women.

We must show in our lives that we are no longer caught up in the bondage from which we have been released and are exhorted to "stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free" (Gal. 5:1).
